About Ioannis Giannidis

Ioannis Giannidis is a Professor Emeritus of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of Athens, and the founder and managing partner of GIANNIDISKOURELEAS Law Firm. He has been practising law since 1986, and has been lead counsel in almost all high-profile white-collar criminal cases in Greece over the past 40 years. Ioannis is President of the Board of the Hellenic Association of Penal Law. He was legal counsellor to the National Bank of Greece for more than 30 years and is now an honorary member of its legal Council. He is also a member of the Legal Council of the Hellenic Bank Association.
