About Joel QUEK

Joel QUEK is a partner in WongPartnership’s International Arbitration, Commercial & Corporate Disputes, Asset Recovery & International Enforcement and Vietnam practices. He acts in significant international commercial arbitrations and has particular experience in the enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards. He has an active investment treaty practice, acting both for and against states in ICSID and UNCITRAL proceedings and in related court proceedings, including for the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, for the Republic of Korea, and for Deutsche Telekom AG against the Republic of India. Joel is co-chair of the IBA Arb40 Subcommittee and writes regularly on arbitration.
